109-111 Farringdon Road

n this circa 20 000 sq.ft. venetian gothic building on 109-111 Farringdon road the home of an old print shop and offices was to be redesigned totally. The building had been run as a serviced office for many years and the interior was previously divided in small dark office rooms with unpleasant finishes, pink carpets, corporate suspended ceilings and sharp unpleasant lighting.

The space was transformed and retained a rough industrial look combined with minimalistic contemporary features and the spaces were transformed into vibrant workshops. The spaces, ranging from circa 700-9000 sq.ft. are today occupied by a mixture of small office users ranging from webdesign, marketing and architecture.

In conjunction with the refurbishment the common parts were also totally redesigned by Yorgo Lykouria at Lykouria design.
